-Vermont is known for its mountains and lakes.  There are many great lakes and rivers to go boating and kayaking in.


-The nearby lakes and streams provide excellent fishing opportunities in a magnificent natural setting.  Mountain streams are prime spots for brook, brown and rainbow trout.  The lakes and ponds are known for bass, walleye, pike, and other species, which make them a favourite fishing destination.


-Hiking trails are available for all levels of adventures, whether you are looking for a relaxing walk among the beautiful fall foliage or have a more challenging goal of reaching a mountain summit for the breathtaking views.  There is a wide variety of habitat and wildlife to explore including woodlands and meadows, lakes and mountain streams, marshes and mountaintops. 


-Vermont offers some of the most picturesque golf courses in the country with it's backdrop of rolling hills.  The quite, peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for a relaxing game. Close to Timber Creek are three fantastic courses – Mount Snow, Haystack and Stratton all offer 18 holes of prime golf.


-Nothing feels as good as a dip in clear, clean water on a hot summer day.  Most Vermont State Parks that are located on bodies of water have beaches with restroom facilities, canoe and kayak rentals, and sometimes even concession stands.
